The opposition is holding its second meeting in a row. Consultations are taking place in "Expo Georgia", attended by representatives of three opposition parties: "Unity of the National Movement", "Coalition for Change" and "Strong Georgia".
As Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of the "Strong Georgia" coalition, notes, "the effort is aimed at coordination on the part of the opposition."
According to him, the opposition has two main demands - to hold re-elections and to release the detainees.
"Our efforts are aimed at coordination on the part of the opposition. This is the second meeting already. You know that after the first meeting where they conducted the attack and also the special operation, and you were at the epicenter of it, what happened was that it created an information center. Now we will also have a conversation to actually create a process where the winning forces (cannot be called the opposition) make concrete plans, so to speak step by step, so that there is a strong protest outside, there is also a political process, there is a normal relationship with the West, to express the vote of our voters, which was given to us," said Khazaradze.
According to available information, after the end of the meeting, the parties will make a joint statement.
