The US should do more and introduce treasury sanctions for those responsible for the crisis, Senator Jeanne Shaheen wrote on social media.

According to her, the Georgian people need the help of the USA.

"While I am pleased to impose additional visa restrictions on those responsible for the ongoing violence against protesters in Georgia, the United States must do more and impose treasury sanctions on those responsible for this crisis. The people of Georgia need our help," wrote Senator Jeanne Shaheen.
