A member of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, Ada Marshania, addressed the "Georgian Dream" party, stating: You have harmed both Georgia and yourselves. I will not cast my vote for Mikheil Kavelashvili

A member of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, Ada Marshania, did not support presidential candidate Mikheil Kavelashvili and criticized the "Georgian Dream" party during the parliamentary plenary session, where the election was taking place, stating that a better candidate should have been chosen.

As Marshania stated, by nominating Kavelashvili, "Georgian Dream" has harmed both the country and itself as a political force.

Marshania noted that she does not approve of Kavelashvili’s candidacy, which is why she is casting an empty ballot.

“You should have thought this through better. You, collectively, have harmed both Georgia and yourselves as a political force. I will not vote for this candidate. I’m casting an empty ballot,” stated Ada Marshania.

To recap, voting is underway in the Parliament of Georgia to elect the country’s president. The election is being conducted by a 300-member electoral college.
