They gathered near Rustaveli Metro and held a march along Rustaveli Avenue.
They brought banners with the message "Let go of my child," and they also brought the flags of Georgia and the European Union.
For reference, the citizens gathered near the legislative body are protesting the ongoing presidential elections in Parliament.
They also brought diplomas and balls with them.
As the protesters claim, the ongoing presidential election process in the Georgian Parliament is an illegitimate process.
Additionally, throughout the day, marches from various sectors of society are planned towards the Parliament building from several locations.
Meanwhile, police forces are mobilized in the area around the Parliament. Officers from both the criminal and patrol police are present on April 9th and Chichinadze streets.
Moreover, Ministry of Internal Affairs employees are stationed in the area fenced off with iron barriers in front of the Parliament, where the main New Year’s tree of the capital is located.
Police forces are also mobilized at Freedom Square, where water cannon vehicles are stationed.
