The united march of representatives from the arts, restorers, art historians, and the IT sector moved to the Ministry of Culture

Representatives from the arts, restorers, art historians, and IT sector members moved to the Ministry of Culture.

Earlier, representatives from the IT sector joined them on the left bank of the river.

The protesters informed the Minister at the Ministry of Culture about the cultural heritage monuments that were damaged during their administration.

During the march, citizens from residential buildings and drivers from vehicles encouraged them with signals.

As they marched, they chanted: “Art is alive, independent, and political,” “The river of the people will not stop, flowing from the heart of the country,” “Freedom for prisoners of the regime,” “Everywhere police, nowhere justice.”

They plan to move from the Ministry of Culture to the President's Administration, then to the Philharmonic, where they will join election observers from the October 26, 2024 elections, and later join the planned protest in front of Parliament.

The demands of the protesters remain unchanged. They are urging the Georgian government to “call early elections, return the country to the European foreign policy course, and release political prisoners.”
