The external forces that were defeated in Georgia are very angry and irritated. They are full of tools to blackmail the country on the path to European integration - we will not allow anyone to blackmail us, - the Secretary General of the Georgian Dream, Kakha Kaladze, said in response to the imposition of sanctions by the Baltic countries on representatives of the Georgian government.
As Kaladze notes, when talking about sanctions, there should be “explanations”.
“Obviously, this type of decision that we heard is regrettable. When talking about sanctions, there should be an explanation: why? Because we are protecting the interests of our country, protecting our people, our country? That is why blackmail and threats are coming. Those external forces that were defeated in Georgia are very angry and irritated. The majority of our country's population, one million one hundred and twenty thousand people, said "no" to evil, injustice, lies. Can you imagine, we say that we want a European future and they are blackmailing us on this path. First there was blackmail regarding the candidate status, now they are talking about blackmailing on the topic of opening or not opening negotiations. They are full of tools to blackmail the country on the path of European integration. This is categorically unacceptable. We may be a small state and country, but we are a people with a great culture, we are proud of our traditions and past. Of course, this attitude and approaches are categorically unacceptable. We will not allow anyone to blackmail us," said Kakha Kaladze.
