David Gogilashvili: I told the story of my situation to the Council of Europe delegation – we asked them to use all possible leverage to ensure that the Georgian people regain their voice and that all those unjustly imprisoned are released

"We asked them to use all the leverage at their disposal to ensure that the Georgian people regain our choice, our voice, and that all unjustly imprisoned individuals are released," said David Gogilashvili, a citizen injured during the protests, after meeting with the Council of Europe delegation.

According to Gogilashvili, the meeting focused on the current situation in Georgia, the desired outcome, and what is needed to achieve it.

"As an ordinary person who was injured, I shared my story, what happened, and generally what is going on in Georgia, the difficult situation we face. This was the topic of the meeting—what the solution is, what the Georgian people need, despite being united and not afraid of anything. We discussed what outcome we want to achieve, what is necessary for that, and what we are asking for. We asked them to use all the leverage available to them to ensure that the Georgian people regain our choice, our voice, and that all unjustly imprisoned individuals are released," Gogilashvili stated.
