The self-proclaimed, illegitimate gang formation called Georgian Dream has already been officially included in the “black list” of terrorists, autocrats and international criminals with whom the civilized world has nothing in common, Grigol Gegelia, one of the leaders of the Strong Georgia Coalition, stated at a briefing.
According to him, the West is acting harshly and the imposition of sanctions against members of Georgian Dream will continue “until the illegitimate regime stops terrorism against its own people and new elections are called.”
As Gegelia notes, the sanctions imposed on members of Georgian Dream by the world’s leading states are the result of the unwavering struggle of the Georgian people, the coordinated work of the winning coalition and the joint efforts of the strong civil society.
“The United States of America and the United Kingdom have passed a final verdict on the representatives of the self-proclaimed regime of Georgian Dream. The self-proclaimed, illegitimate gang formation called Georgian Dream has already been officially included in the “black list” of terrorists, autocrats and international criminals, with whom the civilized world has nothing in common.
The international community does not leave the terrorization of civilians and attempts to seize the state unanswered. The West is acting sharply. In addition to the cancellation of the visa regime for specific individuals, financial and economic sanctions have also been imposed, which will continue until the illegitimate regime stops terrorism against its own people and new elections are scheduled.
The moment has come when the group of criminals called Georgian Dream is not only not recognized by any democratic state, but now already has sanctioned leaders, including the so-called Prime Minister and the so-called Minister of Internal Affairs, whose inclusion in the Magnitsky List is a direct recognition by the entire civilized world of the crimes committed by this regime - persecution, torture, kidnapping, terrorizing people”, said Gegelia.
According to him, it is critically important that more and more diplomats, civil servants and law enforcement officers abandon the criminal regime that declared open war against its own people.
