The International Republican Institute (IRI) has published a report on Georgia's 2024 parliamentary elections.

According to the report, the 2024 parliamentary elections were fundamentally flawed, and the legal framework and regulatory norms of the process hindered healthy electoral competition.

"According to the conclusion of the IRI mission, the 2024 parliamentary elections in Georgia were fundamentally flawed. The legal framework and regulatory norms of the process hindered healthy electoral competition.

There was misuse of public resources by the ruling government, harassment of civil society, creation of obstacles for opposition parties, and systematic intimidation of voters.

Additionally, the report highlights the lack of trust in state institutions," the report states.
