Protests continue on Rustaveli Avenue

Protests continue on Rustaveli Avenue.

The protesters, who have been gathering on Rustaveli Avenue for 26 days, have blocked the traffic.

Their demands are the release of citizens arrested during the protests and the scheduling of new elections.

For reference, the large-scale protests were triggered by the Georgian Dream's decision on November 28, according to which Georgia will not put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028.
