Mikheil Kavlelashvili, elected to the position of president by the Electoral College, will take the presidential oath at the Parliament Palace. The inauguration is scheduled for December 29 and, according to current information, the ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM.The event is being organized by the parliamentary administration. According to the Parliament’s press office, attendees will include members of the Electoral College (so-called "electors"), government officials, representatives of constitutional bodies, and members of the president's family.

The indirect presidential election was held on December 14 at the Parliament Palace. Kavlelashvili was the sole candidate for the presidency. He was elected by 224 electors from the ruling party, Georgian Dream, in the Electoral College. The opposition did not participate in the election.
