Lasha Bakradze: "The main idea of 'Georgian Dream' was to somehow 'hold out' until January 20, and now that idea is also falling apart – Trump will not support a bandit group under any circumstances"

"The main idea of 'Georgian Dream' was to somehow hold out until January 20, but gradually, even that idea is falling apart," said Lasha Bakradze, a member of the "Unity-National Movement" coalition, on Palitra News’ program Résumé.

According to Bakradze, there will be even more pessimism within "Georgian Dream."

"The bandit group 'Georgian Dream' had one main goal: to hold out until January 20. Slowly, even this idea is crumbling. When it comes to Trump, it's very hard to predict what he will do, but we can say with certainty that he will not, under any circumstances, support this bandit group. There will be even greater pessimism within 'Georgian Dream.'

This government virtually has no support in society. There are many people who remain silent—conformists—but I can hardly imagine, nor have I encountered, anyone who deeply sympathizes with the government, except for the violent types who are paid to assault others. They have no real societal backing. How long can they continue like this? On one side is a resentful mass that hates everything on Earth, and on the other side stand free people—cheerful, healthy, intelligent individuals," Bakradze stated.
