The march of musicians and listeners began from the Philharmonic Hall. They carried a banner with the slogan: "We’ll see you off with a song!"
Musicians and music enthusiasts gathered at 7:00 PM near the concert hall. Renowned Georgian singers are participating in the march. Before the march started, opera singer Paata Burchuladze urged the participants to bring candles.
As singer and TV host Giorgi Ushikishvili stated, the march will first proceed to Heroes’ Square, then to the Opera and Ballet Theatre, followed by the Conservatory, and finally to Parliament.
It has been announced that during the march, musicians and music enthusiasts will stage various performances.
Before the march began, Paata Burchuladze emphasized that the authorities would have to listen to the public.
"We must compel them to listen to us. We have no way back; our homeland is behind us. Therefore, we all must stand together. Our unity irritates and weakens them. We will achieve our demands. Prisoners must be freed, and new elections must be announced. Once elections are called, we will send them into political oblivion, and normal political life will continue in the country," said Paata Burchuladze.
Musician Niaz Diasamidze added that 30 consecutive days of marches by people from various professions have created a "popular unity."
"These marches have essentially formed a 'popular unity' that has developed alongside the protests and continues to grow daily. In my opinion, there is no longer any doubt about whether the number of people will decrease, and so on. There might be a pause at some point, but new people join every day. Ultimately, the demands we have will be met," said Niaz Diasamidze.
