Knut Abraham to Annalena Baerbock: The situation in Georgia, a candidate country, is deteriorating daily – Foreign Ministers of the 'Weimar Triangle' should now go to Tbilisi

Member of the German Bundestag, Knut Abraham, has addressed the country's Foreign Minister, Annalena Baerbock, urging her to visit Georgia.

"Dear Minister Baerbock, the situation in Georgia, an EU candidate country, is worsening day by day. The Foreign Ministers of the 'Weimar Triangle' (France, Germany, Poland) should now go to Tbilisi. The European Parliament’s resolution on Georgia and the experience of the Baltic States show us the way forward," writes the Bundestag member.
