The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that six individuals were detained during the ongoing protest on Rustaveli Avenue.

As the ministry informed "InterpressNews," all six protesters were detained under administrative procedures.

To recall, there was a clash between protesters and police near the Parliament building earlier. The police detained the protesters using force.

Before the detentions, the police had urged the protesters to move onto the sidewalk to avoid obstructing vehicular traffic.
