Marko Mihkelson: The people of Georgia, who have been demonstrating their resolve for 32 consecutive days, deserve both moral and tangible support from European countries

The people of Georgia, who have been demonstrating their resolve for 32 consecutive days, deserve both moral and tangible support from European countries, - Marko Mihkelson, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament, writes on his X page.

“Russia's seizure of power in Georgia and the ambivalence of European governments in confronting the illegitimate regime unfortunately suggest that the cost of defending freedom and democracy across Europe will be much higher in the near future.

The people of Georgia, who have been demonstrating their resolve for 32 consecutive days, deserve both moral and tangible support from European countries – in words and in actions. If the people of Georgia do not tire or give in, neither can Europe afford to," Marko Mihkelson tweeted.
