Germany has imposed entry bans on nine individuals responsible for violence against peaceful demonstrators and opposition members in Georgia, according to a statement released by the German Foreign Ministry on its X account.
"Today, Germany has issued entry bans for 9 people mainly responsible for the violence against protesters and opposition members in Georgia. The right to protest peacefully is one of the universal human rights - it is our responsibility to protect it
The situation in Georgia remains worrying.
The Foreign Ministers of France, Poland, and Germany have jointly called upon Georgia to reverse their course," the statement reads.
