A Solidarity Rally Held for Laid-Off Miners in Tkibuli

A solidarity rally was held in front of the municipality building in Tkibuli to support miners who were recently laid off.

According to the rally participants, around 40 miners were dismissed for political reasons during the pre-holiday period.

The dismissed miners stated that they plan to challenge "Saknakhshiri's" decision in court.

Supporters of the miners displayed a banner that read: "It's time for Tkibuli to speak up!"

"My dismissal is directly linked to my political views, which also led to the dismissal of two other members of my family. I posted anti-government content on social media and made comments. I received many warnings," said one miner at the rally.

The solidarity rally in Tkibuli was also attended by representatives from the cultural sector who traveled from the capital to show their support.
