Pia Kauma's planned visit to Georgia is a serious mistake. The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly should not legitimize the illegitimate president, government, and parliament resulting from fraudulent elections, - stated Michael Roth, Chairman of the Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee, on his X account.

According to Roth, the only solution to the deep crisis in Georgia is the organization of free and fair new elections.

"The European Union, the Council of Europe, and the OSCE must demand free and fair new elections. This is the only way out of the deep crisis!" Roth wrote.

As a reminder, MEP Rihards Kols stated yesterday that, according to his information, Pia Kauma, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, plans to visit Georgia with a delegation from January 8-10.
