There was noise in the corridor of Tbilisi City Court, near the courtroom where the trial of the 8 individuals arrested during the protests resumed.

The confrontation followed the bailiffs' attempt to remove those gathered in the foyer from the courthouse.

Relatives and supporters of the detainees say that the bailiffs physically confronted them. They are chanting, "Police everywhere, justice nowhere!" They are also chanting towards the judge, "Khuskivadze – slave."

“One of the bailiffs hit me in the back, Zviad Tsetskhladze's mother was standing, and I was trying to prevent any pressure on the lady. The bailiffs came at us, started hitting with elbows and hands. The processes that are taking place now are called court proceedings, but this is a circus. This is trampling on the Constitution. If you trample on the Constitution today, don’t forget, this will all turn back on you,” said one of the detainees' supporters.

In the end, some of the people gathered at the City Court moved to the courthouse yard, where they continued their protest and chants against the court.
