The people gathered in the courtyard of the City Court protested the decision to keep the eight individuals arrested during the protest actions in custody.
The protesters were chanting: "Down with the regime - freedom for the prisoners"; "Unjust court - fear the power of the people."
One of the citizens brought a so-called balaclava to the police positioned near the building's stairs and said that he could lend it to the law enforcement officers whose faces were not visible.
"As a rule, the Ministry of Internal Affairs violates the law when the face is not visible. A few people have their faces visible, and I can lend or give them a balaclava. I also have a matchbox symbolically gifted by Onise," said the protester.
The eight individuals arrested for organizing, leading, and participating in group violence during the protest actions remain in custody.
This decision was made by Judge Irakli Khuskivadze of the Tbilisi City Court.
