Mamuka Khazaradze: During our visit to Washington, we held our first meeting with representatives of the Georgian community. The fate of our country is in our hands, and under no circumstances should we allow the Russian oligarch to take it from us

"The fate of our country is in our hands, and under no circumstances should we allow the Russian oligarch to take away what belongs to us—the people: Georgia and the victory of its European future!" This was stated by Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of the coalition "Strong Georgia," in a social media post.

The opposition politician discussed the visit to the United States, noting that their first meeting was held with representatives of the Georgian community.

Khazaradze mentioned that numerous high-level meetings are also planned during the visit.

"One week before the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States, we held our first meeting in Washington with representatives of the Georgian community. This is a tradition for me whenever I come here, but this meeting holds special significance for us now because, more than ever, it is vital to listen to our diaspora and align our positions so we can speak with one voice and a unified spirit from every platform.

Ahead of us are numerous high-level meetings with strategic partners and friends from the Senate, Congress, the State Department, and various official institutions.

The fate of our country is in our hands, and under no circumstances should we allow the Russian oligarch to take away what belongs to us—the people: Georgia and the victory of its European future!" Khazaradze wrote.
