The trial of "Batumelebi" founder Mzia Amaghlobeli will take place at Batumi City Court on January 14 at 11:00 AM. The judge will deliberate on the imposition of a preventive measure.

Mzia Amaghlobeli was formally charged today.

To recall, Mzia Amaghlobeli, director of "Batumelebi," is charged under Article 353^1 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to assault on a police officer. Initially, Amaghlobeli was detained administratively during a protest near the Batumi Police Department and was released approximately two hours later. However, just minutes after her release, she was detained again near the department.
