Without free media, democracy dies. In Georgia, it is already in intensive care, - the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the German Parliament (Bundestag), Michael Roth, wrote on his X page after a meeting with representatives of independent media in Georgia.

“Without free media, democracy dies. In Georgia, it is already in intensive care. It is now quite dangerous to be a journalist in Georgia. Thank you to the representatives of independent media for the discussion about a democracy on the brink of collapse. All eyes on Georgia!”, he tweeted.
