The position of EPP family is firm: current Georgian regime is illegitimate and must not be engaged with, - MEP Rasa Juknevičienė, the permanent rapporteur for Georgia in the European Parliament, wrote on her X page.

“Position of EPP family is firm: current Georgian regime is illegitimate and must not be engaged with.

We urge the conduct of new free and fair elections and call for targeted sanctions on Georgian Dream officials responsible for democratic backsliding”, she tweeted.
