Internal Affairs launches investigation into assault of one of the leaders of Lelo

The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the action carried out against one of the leaders of Lelo, Saba Buadze, and the head of the organization of the same party, Ramaz Mandaria.

As InterPressNews was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the investigation has been initiated under Article 126 of the Criminal Code, which refers to violence.

It should be noted that Saba Buadze posted a video on her Facebook page, saying that provocateurs attacked him on Vazha-Pshavela Avenue in Tbilisi.

As Buadze told InterPressNews, two people suddenly attacked him and Ramaz Mandaria. According to Buadze, the attackers first verbally abused them, and then hit Ramaz Mandaria in the face with a bag, which caused an injury.

In addition, according to Buadze, one of the attackers also had a knife.
