Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has called an emergency meeting of the Security Council, scheduled for today, due to the threat of a coup in the country, "Deutsche Welle" reports.
According to Fico, intelligence services have warned of a threat of a coup similar to the "color revolutions" in Ukraine and Georgia, allegedly involving "foreign experts."
"There are plans to overthrow Slovakia's legitimate government through street protests and the occupation of administrative buildings," Fico stated.
