Badri Japaridze: Mzia Amaglobeli’s life is in danger - we see cynical remarks from the government

According to Badri Japaridze, one of the leaders of Strong Georgia, the goal of today’s march is to save the life of Mzia Amaglobeli, the founder of Batumelebi and Netgazeti.

According to Japaridze, Mzia Amaglobeli’s health condition is alarming, to which the government has a cynical attitude.

“Our march today is dedicated to political prisoners, their release is the main demand. The participants of the march have the names and surnames of people who are illegally imprisoned. They are imprisoned because they want a free and European country. They were peacefully participating in these demonstrations, and today they are in prison, so this protest is important.

The condition of Mzia Amaglobeli, who has been on a hunger strike for 19 days, is very alarming. Her life is in danger. We see cynical remarks from the government, not care for Mzia Amaglobeli. This proves that these people do not value the life of another human being. This protest is dedicated to saving the life of Mzia Amaglobeli and freeing political prisoners from prison,” Japaridze said.

At the moment, a march organized by Strong Georgia with the slogan “For Mzia!” is underway.
