"The 'Georgian Dream' made a very bad decision, practically declaring a boycott of the Parliamentary Assembly," said Badri Japaridze, leader of "Strong Georgia," commenting on the suspension of the 'Georgian Dream' delegation's participation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
According to Japaridze, with this decision, the 'Georgian Dream' is harming the state interests of Georgia.
"With this decision, the 'Georgian Dream' is harming our country. It won't harm the Parliamentary Assembly. Whether or not this delegation is there, it cannot interfere with the work of the Assembly, it cannot bring any negative elements, but it harms our country. This is another step towards the isolation of our country. I want to emphasize that once again the 'Georgian Dream' delegation has revealed its nature. Instead of cooperating with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which consists of 46 member states, they say they will not participate in the work, and in doing so, they harm the interests of our state," said Badri Japaridze.
