A protest manifesto of the Vaso Abashidze New Theatre is underway in Europe Square in Batumi.

Actors of the New Theatre and parents of those arrested during the protests are addressing the gathered citizens.

They are demanding the release of the detainees.

“We have come to hear your voice, the pain you have, your representatives will be here, to see each other and listen to each other. Political prisoners are all our pain,” the manifesto participants say.
