Mikheil Kavlashvili, elected by the electoral college for the position of president, addresses Parliament with a report on the most important issues regarding the country's situation.
The spring session of Parliament was opened with Kavlashvili's speech.
In addition to the deputies of the "Georgian Dream" and "People's Power," members of the government, heads of local governments, and constitutional bodies are attending the first plenary session of the spring session. Representatives of the Patriarchate are also invited to Parliament.
According to the rules, after Kavlashvili's address, the chairman of the "Georgian Dream" faction and the majority leader will speak. The representative of "People's Power" will likely also take the floor.
Other issues will not be discussed at today's session.
