The protest rally has resumed near the parliament: demonstrators have blocked Rustaveli Avenue

The protest has resumed on Rustaveli Avenue, where citizens have been gathering for more than two months.

Despite police resistance, the protesters managed to block the avenue.

A police cordon initially prevented them from doing so, prompting chants of “Slaves! Slaves!” from the crowd. Ultimately, the demonstrators succeeded in blocking Rustaveli Avenue.

Every day, citizens and representatives from various fields gather on Rustaveli Avenue in protest. On the 71st day of the demonstrations, the protesters continue to demand new elections and the release of those detained during the protests.
