On February 17, the temporary investigative commission established by the initiative of "Georgian Dream" to examine the activities of the regime and political officials in power from 2003 to 2012 plans to hear several individuals in parliament.
According to the parliamentary press service, a representative from the Ministry of Justice will discuss international disputes and legal relations related to violations of the law that occurred during the 2003-2012 period.
Additionally, a representative from the Central Election Commission has been invited to provide insights into the parliamentary, presidential, and local self-government elections held between 2003 and 2012.
Furthermore, the commission is set to hear from a representative of the Prosecutor General's Office regarding criminal cases related to shortcomings in the justice system during that period.
A representative from the Ministry of Internal Affairs will also attend the session to speak on violations of the law that took place between 2003 and 2012.
The temporary investigative commission meeting is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM on February 17.
