Injiashvili was nominated for Vice Speaker by the political group "European Socialists." He took the position of Vice Speaker that, according to the Parliament's regulations, belongs to the parliamentary opposition.

The Vice Speakers of the XI convocation of Parliament are: the first Vice Speaker is Gia Volski, and the Vice Speakers elected with the majority quota are Nino Tsilosani, Tea Tsulukiani, and Giorgi Kakhiani.
