Joe Wilson: The Georgian de facto regime is violating the OSCE’s commitment to hold free and fair elections, I call on my colleagues to insist on new elections

The Georgian de facto regime in Tbilisi is violating the OSCE’s commitment to hold free and fair elections and protect the fundamental rights of its citizens, US Congressman Joe Wilson said at the joint meeting of three OSCE committees.

He said he was concerned about the fraudulent elections in Georgia and the repression that followed them.

“The Georgian de facto regime in Tbilisi is violating the OSCE’s commitment to hold free and fair elections and protect its citizens. As a result, I call on my colleagues to insist on new elections in Georgia and to reject regular relations with the Georgian Dream dictatorship. The current Georgian Dream delegation is illegitimate and was not elected in free and fair elections, as determined by observers around the world,” Joe Wilson said.
