Aleksandre Tsuladze: The statement issued by the European Union representatives themselves confirms that the decision does not apply to exchange programs for students, researchers, and academic staff

The statement issued by the European Union representatives themselves confirms that this decision does not apply to exchange programs for students, researchers, and academic staff, joint research projects, and scholarship programs, including Erasmus+ and DAAD programs, said the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, Aleksandre Tsuladze, in response to the statement issued by the German Embassy, according to which the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany is suspending cooperation with the Ministry of Education of Georgia and other agencies.

According to the Minister, the statement refers to the temporary suspension of future cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany.

"I would like to emphasize once again that the statement concerns only and exclusively the temporary suspension of future cooperation between two agencies – the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany.

I would also add that personally, I am shocked by the political objectives and interests of these individuals, which we will discuss later," said Aleksandre Tsuladze, the Minister of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, whose comment was disseminated by the press service.
