The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the verbal and physical confrontation between "Crab Coffee" employees and individuals inside the store.
According to the ministry, the investigation has been initiated under Article 126 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to violence.
"In one of Tbilisi's districts, 'Crab Coffee' employees had a conflict with a person inside the store, which later escalated into a verbal and physical confrontation outside. Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation under Article 126 of the Criminal Code, which refers to violence," the MIA stated.
For reference, according to Christy Pirveli, one of the owners of "Crab Coffee," the store's founders, who were serving coffee to protesters, were attacked.
"Friends, unfortunately, 'Crab Coffee' will not be open today. Barbie and I were attacked in the neighborhood, and we are now being questioned. Barbie's nose is broken, and I am in relatively better condition," Christy Pirveli wrote in the group "Daitove."
