If we are talking about aggressive speech, of course, Beka Odisharia and anyone else significantly fall behind the statements we hear from the streets and from the podiums. The accusations in which "international opaque transparency" is involved are absurd, Parliament's First Vice Speaker, Gia Volski, said in response to the statement of the non-governmental organization "Transparency International - Georgia."
According to him, the statement of "Transparency International - Georgia" is far from reality and "behind this are such malicious plans, aiming to bring Georgia to its knees and carry out a coup in Georgia through a revolution."
"The accusations in which this 'international opaque transparency' is involved are so absurd that they are an indicator of how far they are from reality, and behind them are such evil plans, aiming to bring Georgia to its knees and carry out a coup in Georgia through a revolution. There is no other explanation for this because if we are talking about aggressive speech, of course, Beka Odisharia and anyone else significantly fall behind the statements we hear, even from the streets and recently from the podiums. This is not the reason; it is an invented topic. When the state's policy is based on an invented topic, it means that the intention behind it is conspiratorial, dark, and aggressive, something our country and every individual listed here do not deserve," Volski said.
Regarding the sanctions from the Baltic States, as Volski points out, it is unfortunate that the Baltic countries have shown such a rejection, especially when their economic business relations with Russia are quite intense and significantly exceed Georgia's trade turnover with the Russian Federation.
"First, it is better for the Baltic countries that the fire burns elsewhere, that tensions are elsewhere, and that Russia's aggressive power is potentially developing in another direction in the future. Second, these are the very leaders of the policy that attempts to change the government in the country, bringing a government that will implement the policies that Eurobureaucracy needs. Behind this, there is nothing but such evil intentions. I believe that this creates a clear picture for the public, but what is most important here is that the main indicator, which unfortunately we are still observing, is that this policy, this direction of aggressive attacks on Georgia, has not yet stopped. It has not stopped because the process of change in the world has not yet developed, which is of great importance for us," Volski said.
For your information, "Transparency International - Georgia" published information about individuals sanctioned by Estonia, which explains why they were subjected to restrictions.
"The current members of the 'Georgian Dream' party in Parliament and former MP: Irakli Zarkua, involved in group violence in Abu Dhabi; Viktor Sanikidze, involved in group violence in Abu Dhabi; Gela Samkharauli, involved in group violence in Abu Dhabi; Lasha Talakhadze, distinguished by aggression; Beka Odisharia, distinguished by aggression and hate speech, former honorary consul of Latvia," the statement reads.
