Giorgi Sosiashvili, a member of the ruling party Georgian Dream and a majority MP, commented on the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement, asserting that it was directly dictated by the "Deep State."

According to Sosiashvili, the public values the government's efforts to maintain peace, and therefore, they do not pay attention to such "puppet show performances."

"This is just another puppet show performance. Sweden and its Foreign Ministry’s statement have nothing to do with this. This is a statement made under the direct dictation of the Deep State. Whatever the Deep State dictates, they echo, trying to open a second front in our country, cause unrest, drag us into chaos, and bring the fire line closer to us.

However, our people stand firm. The public highly appreciates our government’s efforts to preserve peace. Despite enormous pressure and bullying, we have managed to maintain stability so that our society can develop in a peaceful environment—and this will continue.

So, we do not pay attention to these puppet show episodes and performances," Sosiashvili stated.

For reference, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently published a post on the 100th day of protests in Georgia, expressing support for the demonstrators.

The Swedish Foreign Ministry also stated that the Georgian authorities must take immediate steps to resolve this crisis.
