Tina Bokuchava: Where full state terror is carried out and elections are falsified with full hybrid methods, there is no point in participating in the elections

"Where full state terror is carried out and elections are falsified with full hybrid methods, there is simply no point in participating in the elections," said Tina Bokuchava, the chairperson of the "National Movement," to journalists.

She rules out participating in the local self-government elections until the system changes and fair rules of the game are established.

"When the one who counts always wins, participating in such so-called elections is meaningless. Elections are held in Russia as well, but the one who counts always wins. That’s why it’s important for the system to change, for fair rules of the game to be established, where there will be a fair and competitive environment, and then the country should continue its normal political life. That’s what elections are supposed to be about. I hope the opposition spectrum will be united in terms of entering elections where the one who counts always wins, where there is not a single independent state institution, where full state terror is carried out and elections are falsified with full hybrid methods—there’s simply no point in participating in such elections," said Bokuchava.

According to her, everyone in the party is united on this issue.
