The MEGOBARI Act does not matter for us. Even if they call it an act of brotherhood, kinship, sisterhood and reconciliation, such an act was initiated by people like Jim Risch and Jeanne Shaheen, who hate our country, - Archil Gorduladze, Chairman of the Legal Issues Committee, told journalists.
According to him, “such blackmail is pointless”.
“The MEGOBARI Act means nothing. Even if they call it an act of brotherhood, kinship, sisterhood and reconciliation, such an act was initiated by people like Jim Risch and Jeanne Shaheen, who hate our country. Against this backdrop of hatred, they initiate various acts and support the spies and agencies operating in our country, so that they can then talk about this act again as if something is happening and there are catastrophic events. This means nothing. The European Union and the European Parliament have adopted resolutions 6 times, where they literally demand the sanctioning of our country, our honorable chairman and law enforcement officers, such an act is not even worth the paper it is printed on. These people should understand that such blackmail towards us is pointless – let them calm down and mind their own business,” Gorduladze said.
According to the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Committee Chairman Jim Risch and Committee Member Jeanne Shaheen introduced the MEGOBARI Act last week.
