Protest taking place at Public Broadcaster

A protest is currently taking place at the Public Broadcaster. Various representatives from different fields have gathered at the scene. Meanwhile, some students have entered the television building to participate in the scheduled live broadcast.

The debate between students and Giorgi Shalutashvili, the rector of the University of Theatre and Film, was supposed to take place live on the Public Broadcaster, but the rector did not attend. As a result, only the students are participating in the broadcast.

As the program’s host, Maka Tsintsadze, announced live on air, the rector was initially expected to take part in the discussion. However, after the decision not to suspend the students' status, Giorgi Shalutashvili believes the issue has been resolved and does not require further television debate. Instead, he will join the program remotely during the broadcast.
