There was a shooting on Chavchavadze Avenue in Tbilisi. A man was killed, and another person, who, according to available information, was accompanying him, was injured.

As eyewitnesses told InterpressNews, they heard more than five gunshots. According to them, two bullets hit the windows of a nearby café.

Police and emergency medical services are mobilized at the scene.

As the Ministry of Internal Affairs told InterpressNews, an investigation is underway under Articles 108 and 236 of the Criminal Code, which pertain to premeditated murder and the illegal acquisition, possession, and carrying of a firearm.
