Relations between Georgia and America will begin to improve as soon as political prisoners begin to be released and new elections are scheduled, - said Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the Strategy Builder party.

According to him, the MEGOBARI Act means "even more pressure on all those who falsify the will of the Georgian people".

"Relations between Georgia and America will begin to improve as soon as political prisoners begin to be released and new elections are scheduled. Ultimately, the strategic partnership will be restored as soon as we change the government and expel these anti-Western, anti-human, anti-democratic forces, the self-proclaimed regime, and when democratic forces come to power. The MEGOBARI Act is the foundation for this. We have two choices - either isolation – towards which the Georgian Dream is leading Georgia today, or integration - with America, Europe, more investments, more jobs, more visa-free travel, more benefits for the Georgian people, which we have as a counterweight. This is the content of the MEGOBARI Act. Therefore, false propaganda, which [Georgian Dream] should not try, is a very concrete, objective circumstance. The way to a solution to the current severe crisis is the release of political prisoners, [holding] new elections.

The MEGOBARI Act means even more pressure on all those people who falsify the will of the Georgian people. At the same time, the MEGOBARI Act means immense support for the Georgian people,” Vashadze said.
