People who are agitated, managed and controlled, and in most cases are directly connected to the collective National Movement, always try to politicize legal issues, and this is exactly the case here, - Archil Gorduladze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Issues, told journalists when talking about the seizure of several foundations.
According to him, the foundations, in order to cover up their alleged crimes and somehow present themselves in a positive light in the eyes of the public, are doing everything they can to portray themselves as a martyr.
"People who are agitated, managed and controlled, and in most cases are directly connected to the collective National Movement, always try to politicize legal issues. Here, too, it is exactly the same case, when law enforcement officers explain what the basis for the seizure of funds is, but in order to cover up their alleged crimes and somehow present themselves in a positive light in the eyes of the public, they are now doing everything they can to portray themselves as a martyr. All this serves this purpose. Of course, this is a legal issue, which will be put to an end in a fair trial. Exactly the same statements were made - in the case of Saakashvili, Melia, Ugulava, or R2, where they tried to somehow turn these cases into a political issue. But these people were defeated in the fight against Georgia, and it has happened many times. We are sure that in this case it will be the same, if these people dare to continue to legally protect their rights somewhere, they will be defeated again and again in the fight against Georgia. Those who fight against the country always fail, both politically and legally," Gorduladze said.
