The court found Mzia Amaghlobeli guilty of an administrative offense and imposed a fine of 2,000 GEL as a penalty

The Batumi City Court found Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founder of the publications "Batumelebi" and "Netgazeti," guilty of an administrative offense and imposed a fine of 2,000 GEL as an administrative penalty.

The decision was made by Judge Salikh Shainidze.

The decision was met with shouts of "Unjust court," "Fear the people's power," and noise.

Mzia Amaghlobeli's family members, colleagues, and supporters attended the hearing. Additionally, representatives from embassies were present at today's session.

For reference, Mzia Amaghlobeli was initially detained administratively during a protest near the Main Police Department in Batumi on January 11, and released after about two hours. However, shortly after her release, she was again detained at the department under criminal law.
