The fact that radical oppositionists cannot give a concrete answer as to whether they will participate in the local elections is directly related to the fact that they have not received the directive that they usually receive from the outside, - Nino Tsilosani, Vice Speaker of the Parliament, told journalists.

According to her, the opposition's hesitation stems from the fact that they are not even sure about their own voters.

"In fact, these radical political parties betrayed their own voters at the expense of foreign influences, because those specific people voted for these parties in order to enter parliament, voice the interests, ideas of their voters, and work for them. In this case, they pushed aside the Georgian people and that part of the people who are their voters and made a choice directly in favor of foreign influences, from whom they are financed. Also, no one will be surprised if these radical oppositionists cannot stand each other both within their parties and between them. They were temporarily united for the 2024 parliamentary elections, but they were not be united by any ideological connection. Their only unifying factor is their essentially "national" ideology, which, unfortunately, is overseen by the darkest forces from the outside," Tsilosani said.
