Germany will continue to develop ties with the Georgian people, – the German Ambassador to Georgia, Peter Fischer, wrote about this on the social platform X.

"50 years ago, on this day, a twinning agreement was signed between Saarbrücken and Tbilisi, connecting people. Today, it is suffering due to democratic backsliding in Georgia, as confirmed by the EU and Germany. Germany will continue to develop ties with the Georgian people," – wrote Peter Fischer.
