A rally in support of the "MEGOBARI Act" is taking place at Marjanishvili Square, which will later proceed with a march towards Rustaveli Avenue.
As one of the organizers of the rally, Nino Evgenidze, points out, gathering at Marjanishvili Square holds symbolic significance, affirming the 35-year friendship between Georgia and the United States.
According to Evgenidze, the U.S. has played a significant role in Georgia’s development, growth, and formation.
She emphasizes that the adoption of the "MEGOBARI Act" is important for the Georgian people.
"I believe this gathering carries symbolic meaning, as it reaffirms the 35-year friendship and partnership between Georgia and the United States. Their contribution to Georgia’s development, growth, and formation has been immense. Therefore, the upcoming discussion in the Senate once again highlights the continuation of longstanding support and underscores how important Georgia is to the U.S. The adoption of this act is crucial for the Georgian people," stated Nino Evgenidze.
