Law enforcers arrest activist Gela Khasaia near parliament

Law enforcement officers detained activist Gela Khasaia in the area surrounding the parliament. There was a commotion as he was taken away from the area.

According to the activist's friends who were at the scene, the police stopped Gela Khasaia for identification purposes and demanded to inspect his backpack, which Khasaia refused to do.

Several activists have gathered near the parliament to protest the work of the temporary parliamentary commission investigating the activities of the National Movement government.
